On Thursday, Philips Hue presented its new products for the autumn. The launch of the new multi-bridge support is certainly particularly exciting for many power users, but what really impressed me at the demo event in Berlin was the new augmented reality for virtually trying out Hue products.
At the IFA 2024 event in Berlin, Philips Hue did not provide any specific details about these two functions or the launch of the new effects. It is therefore all the more surprising that all three features are labelled ‘available now’ on the official Hue website.
However, nothing can be seen in the Hue app so far and according to my information, nothing will happen in the coming days, especially with regard to multi-bridge support. We will all need a little more patience here.
You can be sure that I will be keeping a close eye on development in the coming weeks, especially with regard to multi-bridge support. As soon as something happens and the release is imminent or takes place, I will provide you with all the necessary information.

I don’t know, can’t. Read it
Does anyone know if there’s a way to combine time-based and scene cycle functions for the switches? That is, let’s say I only want to have 4 scenes for my lights (read, relax, rest, and nightlight), but if I press the switch at different times of the day, it will begin cycling with a particular scene. For instance, during the day, a single press will set the lights to “read” and subsequent presses will cycle through the other scenes. But if I press the switch in the early evening, it will first select “relax”, and if I press the switch in the middle of the night, it will first select “nightlight”. Does anyone know of a way to make this happen? Many thanks!
Configure the switch for “time based light”. From what I can tell, it works the way you describe.
