About four weeks after the big update with support for Dolby Vision, voice assistants and infrared remote controls, Signify is pushing another small update for the Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box via the Hue Sync App.

You can now download version 1.11.0 of the app from the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. Afterwards you can adjust the brightness of the status LED via the settings and the device information. If the small light on the front of the box bothers you, you can now easily dim it down a little.

In the update description they let us know: “You can now change the brightness of the LED indicator on the front of the Hue sync box by navigating to the device settings in Settings > Hue sync boxes”.
