The Philips Hue Play HDMI Sync Box 8K has now been on the market for around six months and is particularly pleasing to console fans, who can now finally use 120 hertz at a 4K resolution. On an unusual Thursday for Hue, another update for the official app is available for download in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. You can now download Philips Hue 5.39. The new features are limited this time, but for the first time in a long time there are “finally” new scenes.

I keep receiving emails about problems with the battery life of the Philips Hue Secure wireless cameras. I’m always at a bit of a loss because I haven’t used the battery-powered version of the smart home camera myself yet. However, Philips Hue now seems to have addressed the problems. This week, new firmware was released for the Hue Secure cameras.
Philips Hue introduced the new Tento series last year and all variants are now available in stores.
