FabianToday Philips Hue has released another update for its official app, version 5.23 is now available for download in the Apple App Store and Google Play Store. And as I’m still on holiday, I’ll keep it short and sweet today. Here’s an overview of the new functions:
- You can now start and stop the Go to sleep automation from your Hue Dimmer switches and Smart buttons.
- You can now search for rooms, zones, lights and scenes from the Home tab.
- You can now make a quick change from Arm Away to Arm Home state for Hue Secure directly from the Security Card or from the Security Center.
How the new search works in the Hue app
I also took the opportunity to try out the new search function in the Hue app remotely, at least briefly. You will now find a magnifying glass icon at the bottom right of the Hue app home page. If you tap this, a search function opens automatically. By entering text, you will be shown suitable matches, allowing you to switch the light in certain rooms or zones as well as certain scenes or individual lamps on and off directly and without any detours.

The hue spot gu10 dosent want to change color. It chose itself want kind of color it wants. Some works. Some not ??
