Just one week after the last update, a new version of the Philips Hue app is available for download. The update to version 5.65.0 is already available on the Google Play Store, and it should arrive on the Apple App Store today or in the coming days. And once again, Philips Hue isn’t revealing all the details in the official update description.
After a short Easter break, Philips Hue released its next update this week. Version 5.64.2 of the in-house app has been available for download on the Google Play Store since yesterday and on the Apple App Store since today. Aside from the usual under-the-hood improvements, the only new feature is a small function that allows you to remix the colors in previously saved scenes.

Until now, only the Signify logo was visible on the Mercedes race cars.
Following the launch of MotionAware and the announcement of SpatialAware, Philips Hue is now moving forward with its next new product. The Dutch company announced the new PartyAware series today. Two new products will be available at launch in the summer of 2026. Just like MotionAware and SpatialAware, you’ll need the new Hue Bridge Pro for these as well—because they’re about much more than just light.
Some time ago, Philips Hue added a search function to the home screen of its app. Using a magnifying glass icon in the lower-right corner of the screen, you can quickly search for lights, rooms, or scenes. This small icon has since evolved into the Hue AI Assistant, but personally, I hardly ever use it either.
During its major presentation in Berlin in September, Philips Hue announced its intention to integrate its Hue Secure cameras and video doorbell into Apple Home. A few days ago, I was made aware of an interesting issue: the German Philips Hue support website no longer offers email contact options. I quickly realized that this was indeed the case. The German website now only offers written contact options via Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram. All of these services require registration.
