Philips Hue 5.39 comes with new spring breeze scenes

Now available in the App Store

On an unusual Thursday for Hue, another update for the official app is available for download in the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. You can now download Philips Hue 5.39.

The new features are limited this time, but for the first time in a long time there are “finally” new scenes. Eight new scenes are designed to bring a touch of spring into your home. As always, you can find them in the Hue light scenes gallery.

I haven’t noticed any other changes in the new version – apart from the small search icon on the start page. This now looks the same as before, after the icon for the upcoming AI assistant was still visible in version 5.38.1.

  1. In the United States they already have a spring mode called refreshing. Plus, two of those Spring Lake and Sakura are available in different brackets. With all eight of these. So I was confused as to why they added it to the top on the App when they’re already a template in the bottom? I’m assuming it’s to put it in the forefront. I can’t wait till when they add the AI to create scenes. That’s the number one feature. I’m waiting for! I’m a big scene/theme guy.
