Back in July, I introduced you to the Philips Hue Linear Gradient, a light strip designed for installation in the kitchen. Currently, you can’t buy it separately, but only together with a Nobilia kitchen. I would like to reiterate at this point that I had the solution retrofitted in my home.
In September 2024, Philips Hue announced that it would be launching specially adapted and optimized kitchen lighting in collaboration with German kitchen manufacturer Nobilia. In addition to spotlights, light strips have also been added to the range—and I had the opportunity to try them out in my kitchen. Unfortunately, I can already tell you that it won’t be that easy for you to get your hands on them.
If you’ve bought a new kitchen in the last few years, you’ll have quickly realised: Permanently installed lighting is pretty expensive, but it’s really not smart. It’s not without reason that I keep getting enquiries about which Hue products can be installed in the kitchen. Now Philips Hue has teamed up with kitchen manufacturer Nobilia to finally solve this problem.
