Last week I was able to introduce you to some new products from Philips Hue. Among other things, there are brighter GU10 spotlights, but also a whole new product category with the Philips Hue Twilight. You have also already seen the new, affordable Philips Hue Solo Lightstrip. Today, Philips Hue has made its new products for June 2024 official – and I would like to take a first look with you.
Philips Hue Twilight: the first bedside lamp
This new table lamp could soon be sitting on your bedside table. The Philips Hue Twilight is available in a black and a white version, both with a cork base. In addition to direct lighting, there are several LEDs on the back that can provide indirect lighting with a gradient effect. This provides a total of up to 1,380 lumens. The Hue Twilight can also be controlled via two buttons on the top, allowing you to start a smart sunset, for example.
- ColorCast technology with dual light source
- Automatic “go to sleep” function at the touch of a button
- Extremely low dimming levels

Philips Hue Slim recessed light (90mm)
Finally, slim recessed lights from Philips Hue are also available in Europe. Until now, there were only recessed spotlights with GU10 sockets, which required an installation depth of almost 10 centimetres. The new Hue Slim recessed lights, which are available in black or white, only require a good 3.2 centimetres. The slightly smaller spotlights with a diameter of 90 millimetres achieve up to 650 lumens – with a beam angle of 105 degrees.
- Thin profile for low ceilings
- Up to 650 lumens
- 105 degree beam angle

Philips Hue Slim recessed light (170mm)
Would you like a little more? Then you can go for the extra-large recessed spotlights from Philips Hue, which have a huge diameter of 170 millimetres. Although this costs considerably more, it also offers you much more reserves in terms of brightness. According to the technical specifications, the large spotlights achieve up to 1,100 lumens at 4,000 Kelvin.

Philips Hue Datura: New LED panel with indirect lighting
This further highlight from Philips Hue is a further development of the well-known Aurelle and Surimu LED panels. The Philips Hue Datura not only has simple White and Colour Ambiance technology, but also a frameless design with additional LEDs towards the top for the first time. This allows you to create indirect lighting, whereby the additional LEDs can even be controlled separately from the normal LEDs. The Philips Hue Datura is available in a total of four variants, starting in the EU today.
- Diffuse backlighting
- Powerful front light
- Up to 4.850 lumens

Philips Hue Solo Lightstrip: Available in three lengths
3, 5 or 10 metres – the new Philips Hue Solo Lightstrip is available to buy in these lengths. It cannot be extended, but can be shortened individually. It is somewhat simpler than the Philips Hue Lightstrip Plus, but offers comparable brightness. However, the price per metre is significantly lower – so it may be the right light strip for one project or another.
- Bendable, can be cut to size and is not expandable
- Controlled with our award-winning app

Philips Hue Lightguide: New models available
After the unsuccessful market launch, when two of the three large Philips Hue Lightguide models were cancelled, things are finally moving forward. Triangular and Globe are returning to the already available Ellipse model. Two new, smaller models are also being introduced: The Hue Lightguide as Edison and small Globe.
- Now available in 5 variants
- Edison ST70 and Globe G95 significantly smaller
- new lamp bases with perfect fit

Philips Hue GU10 spotlights shine brighter
An increase of over 50 per cent in standard white of 2,700 Kelvin is a significant increase for the Philips Hue spots. The White Ambiance and White and Colour Ambiance models in particular benefit from this. With cooler white, the spots now even achieve up to 400 lumens.

Philips Hue Tento: Available from summer
The Hue Tento will be available in a few weeks as a slimmed-down version of the Hue Datura. The finish is much simpler and there is only one light source that can be controlled. Nevertheless, a little light shines through the transparent cover towards the ceiling. The Tento will be available as the affordable Hue White, but also as White Ambiance and White and Ambiance Colour.
