Philips Hue: Updates for bridge and app without any real new features

Nothing new for Android

It’s time again for some updates from the world of Philips Hue. However, I can already tell you that it’s not going to be spectacular, as there are probably no new functions.

An update for the Hue Bridge was released a week ago. The firmware version 1963089030 merely improves the performance and stability of the system.

And when updating the Philips Hue app to version 5.12, the App Store merely states: “Various bug fixes and stability improvements.” I didn’t notice any changes in the app straight away, maybe you’ll notice something?

Incidentally, there are no updates in the Google Play Store. The Android app was last updated on 8 February, versions 5.11 and 5.12 are not yet available for smartphones without Apple.
