The Philips Hue Outdoor Lightstrip is a rather flexible thing that can be placed around curves as you like. However, the supplied brackets are only suitable for mounting on a solid surface that can also be screwed into. If you want to lay the Outdoor Light Strip on the ground, you can now print the matching accessories yourself.
Andreas from the YouTube channel “Spiel und Zeug” is a big Hue fan, just like me, and in his latest video he presented numerous things that he made himself with a 3D printer. Among them are earth spikes or stakes for the outdoor light strip.
The files needed for 3D printing can be found on the platform Thingiverse.com. By the way, this brings me to the end, because so far I haven’t really dealt with the topic of 3D printing. Maybe it’s time to buy the right hardware? If you have a 3D printer in use, feel free to share your experiences in the comments.
