Philips Hue Go: Use the “cosy candlelight” lighting effect with other lamps

How can the "cosy candlelight" scene known from the Philips Hue Go be used with other lamps? We will show you.

The Philips Hue Go is a great mood light. The name “Hue Go” is no accident, because the light has a rechargeable battery and can be used on the go – in the park, in the garden, on the beach etc. On the back of the Hue Go is a button which allows for switching between five predefined light effects while on the move.

Set “Cosy Candlelight” via app

The dynamic effect “cosy candlelight” is one of the five integrated scenes and unfortunately can only be activated by pressing the button on the Hue Go. But what if you want to use candlelight at home? The respective scene is not available in the Philips Hue app. But with a little detour you can use the cozy candlelight with your lamps at home.

Once again, a side trip to the Hue Lab is worthwhile. There you will find a formula called “Candlelight Romance”, which visualizes just such a candlelight. On the Hue Lab’s start page, you best scroll down, select “Browse all formulas” and choose the right formula there.

Of course, you can also look for more formulas there – maybe there is something of interest for you. Therefore, we would like to know from you: Which scenes do you like to use most? Do you have further recommendations?
